Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Seen it all before and we are down chaps. Couple of points from me. Moyes is not to blame, he was offered the job and took it but has inherited a squad who fear playing. What I would say disappointed me last night were two things. We never seem to have the balls to go for it when the time is right. Everton came into the game under huge pressure and started nervously with the crowd anxious. Christ, if anyone should know how that feels it is us. So, we should have gone for the jugular and started two up front and gave it a go. I was disappointed to see Ayew isolated. The only player who can play up front on his own is Carroll and even he doesn't make much inroads at that. The second and more worrying was that we put effort in against Leicester so I expected to see us build on that or at least replicate it but it was lacking. Looking at our run of games, we will be cut adrift of 17th very quickly with no quality wanting to come in January. Their is only really one inevitable outcome in all this and it will be interesting to see how our board take us forward from that mess. I hate to say it by I gave up on us after last night and I have never done that. The only positive I can think of is that when we went down with Carrick, Joe Cole, Kanoute, Di Canio, Defoe, Sinclair etc etc I was gutted when the best players left. With this squad, at the moment, I would not care who left. Pretty sad statement that.

Fight to the end? Really? I haveseen no fight all season and we won't have to fight until 'the end' anyway as at this rate we will bemathematically down by around March anyway

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
I hate vacuous threads like this, similar to cunts saying we have to get behind the team, well we have, we've done all we can but if the players, management & directors are all limp cunts there's fuck all words can do to inspire them

Accept we're down and get on with your life

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
We have one less point than Sunderland had last season after the same amount of games.

Looks grim to me, especially with our run of games, the spineless cunts masquerading as players and the most depressive negative manager in the league.
On top of that the fans are not united and we have lost home advantage since the move.

Owners will either invest £100m in a survival bid or pocket £90m parachute payment if relegated. I think I know what they’ll do....

we'll have Snodgrass back. He'll be up for a relegation fight.

It's all very well for the supporters to fight to th end, but if the players can't be arsed to take part period we are expending a hell of a lot of energy for nothing.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
The cruelest blow in which is already a wretched season will be if those Millwall cunts go and get themselves relegated. The only potential silver lining in a very dark cloud is playing our real rivals a couple of times.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
January is the worse time to be buying players, clubs know we're desperate so will put £5 - £10m on the price tag of any player we're linked\\talk to. The Dave's and Lady Knightsbridge won't pay. We'll end up with a Quashie type player(s) who won't make a difference. Sorry gents will need to be checking train timetables to Shrewsbury next season!

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
it will come down to the january window.

Moyes and Henry better have at least 3 or 4 players lined up to bring in in order to rip this team up and start again.

then the wankers better back him with serious funds. The 30m 'warchest' banded about will simply not cut it in 2018, you senile cunts.

otherwise we are down

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
If we can at least stay in touch with the teams just above us, then we are always in with a chance.

Mighty big 'if' though..

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Fight?

This is not about the dogs in the fight instead it’s about the fight in the dogs and right now there does not seem to be any fighting dogs just surrender monkeys.

Without Noble there is no local player to set the tone or mood, nobody on the pitch really relates to anything West Ham, nobody to roll their sleeves up and dig in, raise the team, lead by example etc. No player with the spirit of Ginge to lift the fans with a lion heart approach.

Sorry lads, just saying it wont make it happen. Squad is weak and the managerial appointment not proven to turn clubs around short term.

Under normal circumstances some winnable and draw or 2 but at the moment it doesn't look likely

You're a fucking joke.
Imagine if we had this result under Bilic - you'd have been on here crying that he had to go.
You fucking cunt.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
Admire the optimism of some but lets not forget our 2 victory's this season have come against Swansea and Huddersfield at home, and lets face it those 2 are prime candidates for the drop................

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence we wont drop either!

We are and look pretty shit, going to take a minor miricle or a fantastic window to get us out of this mess and lets face it, who in there right mind would join the toxic hammers?

*fingers crossed for the miricle

we r down based on that squad and not allowing for the manager.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
67 - So these 4 games follow the next 3 write off's..

Stoke Away
Newcastle Home
Bournemouth Away
Spurs Away

I'd say they are tough too, so next 7 games look difficult.

Re: WE can still stay up. We fight to the end!
In fairness, I think we have only won twice at Everton in 25 years so I wasn’t surprised by last night.
I always say that you need at least 15 points by the 1st January to have a realistic chance to stay up. We need to beat Newcastle and West Brom at home and hopefully get something at Bournemouth or Stoke.
